Wednesday 25th April 2 - 5pm Drax Power Station This will be a guided tour of the Power Station. A guided tour by coach and on foot, with a refreshment stop during the tour Free  
Thursday 31st May 11am Ampleforth College/Abbey A guided tour of the Abbey which will take approximately one to one and a half hours, followed by a buffet lunch in the Main Hall. We will then be free to walk through the orchards/grounds and new Visitor Centre 14 Includes Lunch and a donation to the Abbey
Friday 22nd June   Leeds Town Hall Explore the Victorian Town Hall in Leeds: a guided tour of the main hall and the old court rooms, a visit to the Bridewell and old Victorian cells below the main building, and for those with the energy a climb of 220 steps to the Clock Tower for a grand view over Leeds. For those unable to climb the steps there is a video which can be viewed showing the views from the top 3  
Thursday 19th July   Littlethorpe Hall Littlethorpe Hall will be an evening visit to the garden which has the reputation of being a very different and interesting garden 9.50 Includes refreshments
Monday 20th August   Brockfield Hall, York Brockfield Hall is a small Georgian Hall which contains a large collection of the Staithes Group paintings. The owner of the house, Simon Wood, will give us a conducted tour of the house and explain the paintings to us, most of which are paintings of Yorkshire 13 Includes refreshments
Thursday 20th September 11am & 2pm Bedern Glaziers, York This outing gives us the chance to see the on-going work to restore the East Window in York Minister. Due to the limitation in numbers allowed on any tour, there are two tours, one for 11am and one for 2pm. 17 Includes buffet lunch (in between the tours) at the Treasurers House just behind the Minister.

I am still hoping to hear from Farnley Hall again so that the members who were disappointed in 2011, will be able to visit in 2012.

Society Annual General Meeting November 2012. The AGM of the Society will be held on a date and venue to be arranged.
