Monday 9th March 7:30pm Wetherby and District Social Club Spring Talk by Mary Barnett - Ethiopia A Personal Experience 3  
Monday 20th April 2pm Ripon Cathedral A guided tour taking in all the parts not normally open to the public, including the gothic crypt (not just the Anglo-Saxon one), followed by afternoon tea. 10  
Sunday 24th May 2:30pm Wentworth Castle and Gardens A 1.5 hour guided tour of this Baroque former home of the Earl of Strafford and a competitor to Wentworth Woodhouse which we visited last year, followed by entrance to the renovated conservatory and Grade 1 listed Gardens and Parkland. 8.50 Numbers are limited to 25.
Friday 12th June 7pm Leeds City Centre Waterfront Walk A guided tour along the rejuvenated Leeds waterfront 5  
Thusday 16th July 2pm Kirk Hammerton and Nun Monkton Churches Kirk Hammerton church is one of the few remaining Anglo-Saxon churches in Britain. Nun Monkton is the church of the original priory but with the East End enlarged in the 1870s. Most impressive is the magnificent east window with glass by Edward Burne-Jones and William Morris which has a claim to be the best stained glass in North or West Yorkshire. Followed by tea at the Alice Hawthorn pub. 10 Cost to be confirmed.
Thursday 10th September 2pm Markenfield Hall near Ripon A 1.5 hour guided tour of a moated medieval manor house built around 1310 and still lived in, followed by tea and cake. 10 Numbers are limited to 25

Society Annual General Meeting

Monday October 12th is the date for the AGM at 7.30pm. Followed by a talk by David Taylor on Leeds Architecture. The venue is the Wetherby and District Social Club on Sandbeck Way
