A guided tour of the privately owned, Grade 2 listed 17th century country house, built on an ancient estate.

Wednesday 18 May
– TOWTON BATTLEFIELD –

A guided tour of the battlefield at Towton where the battle was fought in 1461.

Tuesday 14 June
– SION HILL HOUSE –

A tour of the Arts & Crafts period house and gardens designed by Walter H Brierley of York in 1913.

Tour 2.30p.m.  £15.5 per person

– WAR GRAVES CEMETERY, HARROGATE –

A guided tour of the war graves cemetery at Stonefall Cemetery, Harrogate.

‘Dalton Parlours – A Roman Villa’ by Roland Blackburn followed by cake and cold drinks,

– LEEDS DISCOVERY CENTRE –

A talk and tour of the storage facility for Leeds Museums and Galleries, including a viewing of the artefacts from the Wattle Syke excavation. Includes tea/coffee and biscuits.

Monday 20 October
– AGM and AUTUMN TALK –

‘The Vikings in Yorkshire’ by Prof. Joyce Hill

7.30p.m. Methodist Hall, Wetherby.  £4 per person (visitors £5)
