The Brown Cow was located in Walton Road – where Fire Station is now.
The only mention of the Brown Cow is an article in the Wetherby News entitled “When Wetherby had 27 Pubs” which states – ‘Turning right down Walton Road, the Brown Cow was replaced by the Fire Station in the 1880’s and further up the road the Spotted Ox used to stand on the site of the old vicarage.’
The Brown Cow does not appear in any of the directories.
